Stake's exclusive studios go independent as "Juice" — and Roobet is first in line
The five studios that built Stake's exclusive game catalogue — Twist Gaming, Knucklehead Syndicate, Monstrums, Massive Studios and The Originals — have spun out into a single B2B supplier called Juice, opening a library of more than 100 titles to every operator instead of just Stake. The studios' games reportedly generated north of $12 billion in turnover while they were Stake-exclusive, and the whole catalogue now ships through one remote game server integration, so any operator gets all five studios through a single commercial relationship. Juice is led by Brais Pena Sanchez, a member of Stake's founding team, and Roobet is the first operator live with the new supplier. It's a notable structural move for crypto casino content: instead of exclusivity as the competitive moat, the studios behind one operator's most-played games are betting the bigger prize is distribution across the whole market. Worth watching whether Shuffle, BC.Game or Gamdom follow Roobet onto the Juice roster, and whether Stake itself keeps any exclusivity terms on its own originals going forward.
Deposit data: Stake still dwarfs the field, but the chasers are shuffling
The most recent weekly on-chain read tracked by industry sources put deposits at Stake around $570 million for the week, more than seven times the next closest operator — Roobet at roughly $76 million, Gamdom at $55.5 million, Shuffle at $48.5 million and BC.Game at $33.8 million. That gap is the same story the deposit data has told all year: a handful of operators dominate crypto casino volume, and Stake alone accounts for a share most traditional iGaming operators would consider a whole market's worth of action. On the product side, both Stake and BC.Game shipped changes this week that touch the provably-fair mechanics players actually check: Stake reworked its Original Slide game, and BC.Game migrated its Crash Original onto a new provably-fair seed chain built to support 20 million rounds, with a brief planned downtime window to complete the cutover.
Sweepstakes crackdown: six operators down, the state count still climbing
The US sweepstakes-casino wind-down we've tracked all year hasn't slowed. Trackers now count at least 17 states that have banned or meaningfully restricted the dual-currency sweepstakes model, and six operators have shut down entirely since October 2025 as the legal ground under the sector keeps shifting state by state. Illinois alone sent cease-and-desist letters to roughly 65 operators earlier this year, naming platforms including Chumba Casino, Fliff, Legendz, Global Poker and Stake.us. The pattern from earlier editions holds: every sweepstakes market that closes is a pool of US players who still want to play and increasingly have nowhere fiat-licensed to do it — pressure that shows up as inbound volume on offshore crypto casino books rather than in the small number of states with regulated iGaming.
